Swimming with Whale Sharks
Experiences typically last 2-3 hours depending on where the sharks are found. Masks, snorkels and fins are provided.
Swim with giants. The whale shark is the largest fish in the sea measuring up to 15 metres in length. Every year between December and March whale sharks migrate to our waters. St Helena is one of a few places in the world where large fully mature male and female whales sharks gather in extraordinary numbers.
On our whale shark tour you have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these fantastic animals. We strictly follow interaction guidelines to give you the best experience possible without causing distress to the sharks. Whale sharks are docile animals and pose no threat to humans none the less our experienced guides will be at hand to ensure your safety.
